Weekend with Strawberries

Strawberries is associated for me with a few things :  Strawberry Pavlova, time to visit Pick Your Own Farm and Tennis at Wimbledon!
As our strawberries still not ripe yet, and I am longing for some fresh summer fruit dessert we went to our local Pick Your Own Farm. We had no idea that it is so close to us, so I will be paying a visit more regularly to those farmers fields :)
I could not describe how happy I was picking my own strawberries! One goes in to the basket one goes in to my belly......till I can't eat no more :) Its that sounds like cheating? :)))
We also picked some sweet peas. Oh they where soooo good! Perfect snack with watching movie this evening!

And finally we indulged in to dessert made from heaven!
Strawberry and Mango mini pavlovas. I no need to say how tasty they are....
With the rest of the meringue I made some Eton Mess. Done.
No calorie count business in our house today :)
Hope you had as lovely weekend as we did!

Three and a half weeks....

I have been looking for the right cake stand for almost four months now.I spotted this particular stand some time ago at John Lewis store, but priced at £45 it was a bit too expensive. Well, today I could not believe my luck, when I popped in to check on John Lewis sale - the cake stand stood there at all his glory reduced to £20. Voila! Now I got the cake stand I wanted to display our Wedding Cake :)

These pretty champagne saucers we have received for Christmas from Jason's Mum and Dad. we are planning  to use them as  our individual champagne glasses/ saucers at the wedding reception. They are so glamorous!

Have not made my mind up on which nail polish colour to use for my big day. I kind of love to paint my nails in red?....

I will be having a Make up Artist to make me look gorgeous :)
However I would like to use my own lipstick to touch up later in a day, and my all time favourite lipstick is from MAC. Creme Cup is most popular on brides and have this pink/beige colour.
Kinda Sexy and Costa Chic colours  also have popularity between brides.

purchasing a waterproof mascara is a must for all brides, and I'm sure I will be teary on a day. My Make up Artist recommended the new addition to Clinique. High Impact Waterproof Mascara in black and it is priced at £16.00

P.S. after the Wedding I will be posting all  the little details about my make up, beauty tips, wedding preparation, DIY ideas, wedding decor, flowers, cake and so much more. Stay Tuned!
Three and a half weeks left till our Big Day :)

Summer Sale!

Who ho! Summer Sale is here, and I took the first opportunity to visit my local Zara shop for some bargains. I must say, that for some unknown reason all the sizes at Zara are just so so small. i piled myself more than I can carry and spent half an hour in the fitting room, but it seems that sizes are just way too wrong in comparison to other retailers. So I ended up with only few lovely pieces, like the black simple top to go with almost everything ( looks way too large in the photo but it is size Medium and fits me perfectly well) and the gorgeous short  yellow  dress. Also picked some sandals, as they are most comfortable shoes to wear for everyday out and about.
I love good Sales and finding the right bargain :)

Prewedding Photoshoot

last weekend we drove all the way to the beautiful Suffolk, East of England to have our prewedding photo shoot with the most talented photographer Beverley. I have planned for this day month's ago well in a advance, wondering what should I wear, how my hair should look and all other little details, that the girls worry about! All week before the photo shoot we had most amazing weather here south, so I was very positive that maybe I should wear a nice summery dress, as we where planning to shoot at the unspoiled beach location with sandy dunes. Well..... can you plan anything in advance when you live in England? The answer is NO!
Saturday morning we woke up with the big grey stormy clouds above us! and when we arrived to the Walberswick beach it was so windy and cold that all my worries about how do i look vanished in seconds! all I wanted is a big cup of hot chocolate :)
Beverley arrived with a big smile and  a gorgeous blanket to use for our shoot on a sandy beach. We took our jackets and scarfs away and pretended that we are at the California Beach! And it worked! It was amazing, we felt relaxed and all loved up in front of Beverley's camera.
And look at Jason- how handsome he is, poor baby was so worrying (he don't like posing in front of the cameras) but the photos turned out so beautiful and natural. Well and me, what can I say, I do like a bit of a posing so I was in my full element of Joy!
Thank you Beverley!
We can't wait for our Big Day! only 6 weeks to go!
With Love
