One month favorites...

I have decided to share some Baby's and Mommy's favorite items we have been using  in the first month of Isabella's arrival.  Will try to make it  into regular monthly posts by updating our must have items.

Lansinoh Lanolin cream.
This magical tube is my life saver! My ''girls'' are very happy! Is a must for breastfeeding Mums.

Water Wipes.
We have used these baby wipes since Isabella's birth. It has no perfume, oil or any other nasty ingredient to baby's skin. It is a pure water! We love them.

Nuk baby bottle cleanser.
It is a handy washing up cleanser to have if you use bottles for milk. I have started to express my milk, and so started to use some bottles.

Pampers new baby nappies

We are happily using Pampers new baby nappies. Not a sign of nappy rush!

Philips Avent single electric pump.

Some Moms do like this pump some don't. Maybe is not the best pump on a market, but it does the job for me.

Cot Book

Isabella loves this cot/ bed book, she likes to look into this tiny mirror and absolutely in love with the black and white stripes :) Thank you Nanna Dana! x

Angel Care Movement sensor with sound baby monitor.
Bought this monitor on some recommendation and we have been pleased so far.  At the moment  we use it in  Isabella's moses basket but eventually will transfer to her cot bed.

Earth friendly baby shampoo & bodywash
Loving the smell of this shampoo! we have only recently introduced bath products to our baby.

Angel care Nappy bin
Essential item in our bedroom at the moment. To collect those smelly poopo nappies!

Burt's Bees Baby Bee Nourishing lotion.
We don't use a lot of lotions on Isabella's skin, but when she developed some dry skin patches this cream really helped to soften the skin.

Pregnacare vitamins for breastfeeding Mums and Fenugreek capsules to help maintain milk supply.
I have been pretty good with taking vitamins in my pregnancy so I decided to continue taking some to help with my immune system. Also I'm taking some fenugreek seed capsules which meant to help with milk supply. Not sure if it does, but so far I had enough milk to my baby's demand.

Eat Sleep Poop. book by Scott W. Cohen
Essential book for all new parents. Lots of handy tips and useful information.
Available at amazon.co.uk.

Isabella - One Month Old!

Height / Weight: We are not sure of Isabella's exact height, as she was never measured since birth. Our health visitor suggested to measure her  in a later stage of baby's development, as the length measurement is not very accurate at this stage. However we have noticed a very big growth spur in Isabella, as her legs are gone very long and her newborn sized sleepsuits are already way too small.
Today we had visited our health nurses at Baby Clinic. Isabella's weight is 4.800kg / 10lbs 9oz.
Very happy Mommy and happy Baby!

Eating / Feeding: I am exclusively breastfeeding. For the first 3 weeks we had no feeding routine as Isabella was feeding on demand. But now we have established some sort of timing pattern.During the day she feeds every 2-3 hours. She sleeps well at night so I only feed her late in the evening, once at night and in the early hours of the morning. She started to fuss more in the evening but during the day she is very good baby most of the time :)

Clothes Sizes: Isabella has grown out of all newborn sizes. So I am pleased that I haven't purchased too many newborn size clothes, we only had around 6 sleepsuits and 6 vests. At the moment she is wearing 0-1 and 0-3 months clothes. Some of them are still too big, but that depends on the clothing brand.

Milestones:  So many! Isabella is a very happy baby for most of the time, she only cries when she is hungry or tired. Daddy made up a cute song when she is hungry ; ''Mummy Mummy Mummy I want milk in my tummy, and I wanna wanna Now!''    How cute is that!!!!  :)
Also she is already trying to lift her head when she is on a tummy and likes following Mommy's movements.
Smiling when Mommy or Daddy is talking to her!

just a few shots of my baby bump. I do miss being pregnant already, but not the last few weeks of my pregnancy as those weeks where just impossible to walk and do anything, I was large as a pumpkin!

As I do breastfeed,  I have lost a lot of baby weight already, plus running around the newborn keeps me fit for some time :) However skinny jeans will have to wait for a while :)
During my pregnancy I have been wearing pretty much the same outfits most of the days, changing only the tops and jumpers. My most loved maternity clothes where from H&M maternity range. They have the best maternity jeans and leggings with a nice soft support around your belly and waist. The blue animal print dress is non maternity dress from Marks & Spencer's,  just a size bigger than my normal size I wear.
With all my pregnancy I have been very lucky not to have any new stretch marks and I have been using religiously Bio Oil for stretch marks before bed every night. For some unknown reason I have opted not to cut or colour my hair during all nine months, so they have grown way too long and screaming for some highlights! So hairdressers appointment is already booked in :)
Thank you for reading and till next time....
