What I'm Reading Now

Is have been a while since I have finished reading my last book, but never got around to start reading a new one. So I pulled this book from my book shelf - I have lots of new books waiting to be read :)
Most of you are probably familiar with the name of Beatrix Potter, the author of  the most fascinating children books of all times. I'm sure you need no introduction to Peter the Rabbit......
This book is biography about Beatrix life.

Shopping with my Mr.

Today me and my Mr.H. went wedding ring shopping. I have been looking for the perfect rings for a while now, so today we decided to go and try them on. We both fell in love with our rings! Jason don't wear any jewellery at all, he is actually just now purchased a watch, but purely for practicality, rather than a look :) So I was well pleased that he really liked the ring. We bought them and left at the jewellers to engrave our initials and the wedding day. Actually, we had a good laugh too! When the shop assistant asked Jason to confirm that ''on grooms wedding ring will be initials D H, he told her NO! is J H.......that's actually his own initials......he had no clue that we are meant to have each others initials :)
OH DARLING! :)

So after we finished with the rings, we decided to do some shopping at John Lewis. We have collected so many Gift Vouchers from friends and family, that we finally made our minds to purchase a new beautiful Toaster. Welcome to our new home my lovely Canvas White Dualit Toaster!

Then at home we made some Tuna Salad for Lunch. It was yummy.

Have lovely weekend!

my little project at the dining table....

in the past few weeks my dining table is constantly covered in all sorts of crafts and paper goods for making our wedding stationary. satin ribbons, picture frames, lace, mini pegs and piles of coloured card and paper. I have also counted and packed all my vintage china into boxes ready for the wedding.
We will be serving an English Afternoon Tea to our guests.
I took this photo of Roses at my local vintage flower shop, and the colours are just amazing!
P.S. After the wedding I promise to share with you  all the little details and planning I have done to create a very personal wedding decor.
with love.

My Recent Outfits

My new flip flops from Crew

New jeans from Zara

White top from H&M. I love the scalloped edges of this top. I do wear tops under my jackets.

Long sleeve jersey top from H&M to wear around the house. And it was 50% reduced.

Beautiful sleeveless top with ruffles to go with my new jeans. From new collection at H&M.

My favourite this seasons colour. And I had to have these earrings from Aldo.

You know those days, when you feel the need of something new and refreshing in your wardrobe.Today is one of those days for me. I'm not a big clothes or shoes shopper, I would rather buy some new plates or candles.
But every season you should get a few new wardrobe items. I like good bargain, and usually do my shopping when  the seasonal sales are in the stores.
I have been looking for a new pair of jeans for a while now. And when I visited Zara today, I felt like a kid in the candy shop. OH ZARA! I love your spring summer collection! All those beautiful colours, patterns, new shades..... I love it!

Here is some photos from the new Zara collection. I loved this yellow jacket, but haven't made my decision yet :)

I bought some beauty products too, but will share with you in my next post.
love.

Wedding Flowers

Wedding Bouquet....with those beautiful flowers and scent. I'm so excited to be doing my own flowers for our wedding. from table centrepieces to venue decorations, I also will be arranging my own bouquet.
I love flowers. And there is no secret that my most loved flower is peonies. But our wedding is in late July, so peonies will be out of season. I'm so sad. However there is lots of beautiful seasonal roses and hydrangeas will be about. So I started to look into some ideas for inspiration.
I also visited the wholesale flower suppliers and got some ideas on what type of flowers they do deliver. So I will be booking them soon.
Only 13 weeks to go!
with love.

How clean is your House :)

I will be lying if I to say that I love cleaning, however I'm obsessed with the house being tidy and clean. Not always it is possible to maintain perfectly clean house, but I found myself mopping around every other day. Sad. I know. Jason even  gave me a name Mrs.Moppet.
I can't help it. With so many things collected over the years its time to sort them out.
One thing that I do love is washing up! We barely use our dishwasher, as I do prefer to wash things straight away. I always use rubber gloves, and sometimes rub my hands with the moisturising hand cream before I put the gloves on, so when I do wash in a hot water my hands also have a little treatment.
In the new house we have a hard wood flooring, and it needs a special attention. I always hoover gently and then mop with a bit of water and a hardwood floor cleaner. If you have any tips on how to look after hardwood flooring I would love to hear from you :)

Create a timetable for house cleaning work. It is not that you always have to wander around the house with cleaning supplies to keep it clean. Spotless and perfect house is not possible to maintain, however, you can keep your house clean enough. Try to involve your family members to help you clean the house.
Clean different parts of the house during different days. The whole cleaning process cannot be completed on a single day. You can consider cleaning toilets on one day and furniture on the other.
You need essential cleaning supplies to clean your house. For every part of the house such as toilet, closet, windows, and furniture, you need different types of cleaning solutions. You need to have appropriate supplies to clean the house perfectly. If you don’t have any supply, take some time to buy it before you start the cleaning process. You can look for quality products that save money.

Organising clutter is the first step to clean the house. If you have a mess in any room, you must first sort out the things that are to be thrown. This way, you can control and organise clutter. The best way is to prevent things from messing up.
And finally I would love to give some credit to my new cleaning product called ''method''. You can get it in any bigger supermarket, it comes in all different ranges from Kitchen cleaner to Bathroom. It is non toxic cleaner and have a very pleasant smell, not too strong as most of the cleaning products are.

After you finish cooking in the kitchen, wipe out spills and remains in the kitchen appliances. If you are free, enjoy music while you clean! I always put a CD on while cleaning, and don't forget that cleaning is a perfect exercise and you can burn up to 100 calories by just hoovering around! After finishing your cleaning, give a house a lovely smell by litting one of the fragrance candles.
